Riverside At Armathwaite is a stunning lodge in Armathwaite, near Carlisle, Cumbria. This 1960's mid-century modern property sits right on the River Eden with waterside views from most rooms. It's perfectly placed to explore both the Lake District National Park and Hadrian's Wall. Five bedrooms, five bathrooms and space for ten people make this the ideal spot for big family gatherings.
The one-acre garden gives you plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. Mostly lawn with fruit trees, you'll find two patio areas perfect for summer evenings. The covered hot tub fits seven people - just what you need after a day of hiking. There's also a fire pit and Kadai barbecue area for those who like playing with fire after a few drinks.

The open-plan kitchen comes fully equipped with two fridges, American-style fridge/freezer and even an instant boiling water tap for those emergency cups of tea.
Nearby attractions include the Lake District National Park (30 minutes), Hadrian's Wall (40 minutes) and the Scottish Borders (45 minutes). The Eden Valley is right on your doorstep with walking trails and cycling routes. Penrith town is just 11 miles south with shops and restaurants.
