We had an amazing stay at Ballinorig Lodge! It was so cosy and well equipped and had everything we needed! We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, BBQ hut and scenery! David was a very helpful host and suggested multiple places for us to visit which was so helpful. We 100 recommend staying here if you want a peaceful and relaxing break! We will definitely be back!!
Magical place

Ballinorig Lodge is a wonderful place to stay. David is an excellent host, very friendly and welcoming, but also very knowledgeable about places to visit and things to try nearby. The cottage was very well maintained, clean, tidy and there are also so many thoughtful little things that just add to the stay. The property is also private and secure. I will definitely stay here again.
Had a fabulous stay at the lodge! It was comfortable, cosy and had all we needed for a relaxing break in the Lakes. The hosts were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed! Had a lovely visit from a run away chicken and a very friendly cat which was a nice surprise as we are animal lovers! We couldn't get into the smaller outhouse building down the steps from the hot tub as it was locked though, wasn't sure if it was only to be used in Summer? Not a problem though, the hot tub was a lovely bonus after a long day of walking! Thanks again, we had a great time!
David the proprietor could not do enough for you. Starter pack was excellent and the surrounding area to the lodge was excellent. The lodge inside was just like the photos excellent.
Fantastic lodge, immaculately clean with everything you could need, even a 'bits and bobs' drawer! David, the owner, met us upon arrival, and had lit the log burner for us. He was very friendly and helpful, and gave us information about days out and the surrounding area. The hot tub was fab, and undercover, which enabled us to enjoy it, despite the awful weather! We woukd love to return! Highly recommend!

All we can say is WOW. We are just leaving Ballinorig Lodge after a 5 night stay over Christmas. The lodge is beautiful, made even more stunning with thoughtful decorations, a log fire, cosy blankets and warm decor. The hosts A big thank you to David and Carol. Their place is simply perfect. They have literally thought of everything. On arrival, we had hot chocolates, a box of teacoffeesugar etc, a log fire that had already been started and David on hand to show us around. Despite it being Christmas, David offered to drive us into town if we needed, as well as come over and start the fire if we were to struggle. Amenities Hot tub clean, spacious, and simply glorious to relax in. Bits and bobs draw any little thing you might need, youll find here. Forgot your rain coat? Dont worry, theres waterproof ponchos in the draw. Need a nail file? Check the draw. Just an excellent idea. The fire hut plates, bbq equipment, cups, pillows, cushions. Was absolutely perfect to cosy up and have breakfast in. Location Secluded enough to feel completely cut off from the chaos of the world, but close enough to shops, pubs and beautiful beaches if you wish to visit them. We highly recommend this place. Were leaving feeling relaxed, rested and ready to face the new year. We will definitely be back! Thank you.
Absolutely fantastic, idyllic location. Would highly recommend to anyone immaculately clean thoroughly enjoyed our time. Many thanks Scott and Sam.

David was so friendly and accommodating meeting us on arrival, showing how everything works, giving us recommendations on the area and even coming in to light the fire for us while we was out. The place has everything you need even a bits and bobs draw which i absolutely loved. Great location, clean and cosy.

The photos of the cabin to not do it justice at all, such a warm and welcoming place. The views of the night sky were amazing. Hot tub and BBQ hut were a huge bonus. Will definitely be booking again. Thank you for an amazing stay and being fabulous friendly hosts
Stunning. Location was beautiful. It was the perfect stay & everything that we could possibly need was provided. It was fabulous waking up to the sound of a cockerel, hearing the owls at night & relaxing in the most wonderful hot tub. It was a fantastic week.
The lodge was more than we expected. Beautifully presented on arrival, we were met by the owner despite arriving quite late and he took the time to show us around the area and show us how the facilities work. 100 reccomend and definitely hope to visit again in the future
David you were amazing! The place was fantastic thank you for a great stay. Only thing we said we missing was a drying rack for the washing up. We were worried we were spilling water onto the sides.
The property is amazing. We were welcomed in with a roaring log fire. David the owner was so helpful and friendly. It is a 5 star property, very clean. Everything you need is there. The hot tub is fantastic and we enjoyed the BBQ. Some lovely places to visit near by. We had a great time and hope to go back .

This property is an absolute gem. The owner David was very helpful and showed us how to use everything when we arrived. We were left everything we needed and more. The location is ideal and it's lovely and private. David was so nice with our kids letting them feed the chickens and geese. There was plenty of space. It is right next to a river and a small wood and close to the town centre. The lodge is immaculate. We wish we had stayed longer.
We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, cosy lodge. It was just what we needed. Thankyou to David for the lovely welcome and for warming the fire up for our arrival. Couldn't fault a thing. The lodge is really well equipped and everything well thought out. The hot tub was a lovely bonus that we really enjoyed. Would 100 recommend for a relaxing break.
