After a day exploring the fells or messing about on Derwentwater, unwind in your private hot tub with a favourite drink. Who said hiking was the only way to soak your muscles?

The accommodation includes seven bedrooms spread across three floors. Ground floor: one king with en-suite. First floor: king with en-suite, zip/link king (can be twin) with en-suite, double, twin and family bathroom. Second floor: king with en-suite and zip/link king with en-suite. Booked this accommodation for a large family weekend. The accommodation was well laid out, comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need. The hot tub was a favourite with the younger members of the family all adults My only advice to anyone booking would be the second floor bedrooms had sloping roofs so maybe better suited to shorter visitors or children. Lovely property which we would book again.

Had a lovely stay here, the home was beautiful and well equipped. The location was perfect, close enough to walk into the town but on a quiet road

Arrived on the Friday afternoon, no hot water no heating. Initially thought it must be on a timer. It was not, contacted the number provided at 9pm heard nothing overnight nothing at all until the next day when I rang another number they eventually came and fixed the boiler which had broken just before lunchtime. We were then able to have hot showers and heating half way through the trip. A hot tub was advertised, it was full of ants we didn't realize this until we were sat in said hot tub, observed them crawling all over our bodies and the top of the hot tub. Advertised as having WiFi wifi did not work at all, signal kept cutting out. We were a group of mothers who all. Have young children at home it was quite distressing not being able to keep in touch unless we were not at the property due to terrible Internet and phone signal.

A lovely week spent at Cranford house ,the house is lovely and comfortable with a large sitting area it was lovely being able to sit everyone together,the kitchen has all the amenities we needed to cook a Xmas Lunch ,parking might be a issue at times but we had no problems finding a parking space we had 5 cars with us in total ,we would definitely return to Cranford house again next time we go to the lakes as a family thank you for a wonderful .

A beautiful house which worked so well for us as 4 families coming together. It was well equipped and we felt very at home. All the bedrooms were beautifully laid out. The Hot tub was fabulous and kept temperature so well. The house is just a few minutes walk from the town centre with lovely mountain views as you walk out of the front door. The only problem we had was with the Internet which rarely worked for the first few days and was intermittent after that. This may have been a local provider issue and not the fault of the owner but it was only thing which was a negative all week. We would certainly recommend the property.

We had a fabulous weekend at Cranford House for my sisters 40th birthday. The house was in a great location, everything was in walking distance. Handy lane next to the property where we could unload everything via the back door with parking nearby. The property itself was lovely, loads of bedrooms with comfy beds. My only slight negative comment was that the downstairs rooms were a bit small but Id read that in other reviews so it wasnt anything we werent aware of and it didnt spoil the weeekend

Had a great family weekend in Keswick. The house is lovely, warm cosy and well equipped. All bedrooms are well laid out and with comfortable beds. Kitchen is well equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery and utensils. The hot tub was great addition and really enjoyed. Short walk into centre of town, with park and lake easy to get to. Parking not a problem with on road and the two spaces.

This is a very nice townhouse over three floors in fairly central Keswick, and accommodated 11 family members this October half term very comfortably.

Having a hot tub is fabulous. Only very minor thing back garden with hot tub is not at all secure for even a small dog. But this would not prevent me from staying here again.

My family and I stayed for my fathers 60th birthday. The house was beautifully presented, perfect location short walk away from the main high street in Keswick and was very clean and tidy. We did find the mattresses were too soft which disturbed sleep but that is personal preference. There is plenty of room to sit and relax and have your meals and the tv room was great for the kids! Who also loved the hot tub which was clean.

The big fridgefreezer and 2 ovens were really helpful when preparing food for everyone. The house had everything we needed and only a short walk into Keswick for a meal after a big day out walking. The hot tub was brilliant, although access to this is by the side of the house and a public walkway so you have to be quick getting in. We found parking on the street fine. Stayed at this property as we were working in the area. The house is outstanding and in an ideal location just a few minutes walk from the main street of Keswick. Spotlessly clean and very well decorated. Loads of space with a big living room, dining room and kitchen to go with the 7 bedrooms. The hot tub was the icing on the cake! I would definitely recommend using this property if you plan to visit the area in a larger group.

Cranford house has everything going for it. It's comfortably furnished, well proportioned, ideal for large groups and near the centre of Keswick. The house has been recently renovated to a high standard. Our party comprised of 8 adults, 4 children, a baby and a dog. Everyone fitted in and felt comfortable. We had a couple of small issues which were promptly dealt with by our contact Sarah. We would stay there again.

We were supposed to stay somewhere else but the landlord changed the room configuration which wouldnt have worked for our group. The good news is that we were offered Cranford House! This was exactly what we had been looking for and all of us were extremely happy. We were a family group of two elderly parents, adults, teens and dogs. All of us were well catered for. The house has great character and is large, spotlessly clean, in an excellent position and had everything we could wish for. The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils. Plenty of bedding, hot water and great space for cooking and dining. Downstairs en suite bedroom was ideal for grandparents. A short walk to shops and we were able to park on the road without hassle. Also a short walk to Fitz Park. Thank you to the host and I am sure we will return

Stayed at Cranford House for a 3 day weekend along with our two children, their partners and our five grandchildren aged 12 to 20 eleven people altogether. Cranford House was beautiful, the photographs were very accurate, the beds were comfortable and benefited from ensuite in five of the seven bedrooms, there was also a lovely bathroom with separate shower, there was plenty of seating in the dining room and lounge for everyone and we spent the evenings playing board games and enjoying being able to be together as a family. Keswick town is only a short walk away, a fabulous market on Thursday and Saturday and there was plenty of choice for eating out if required, Keswick is a dog friendly town and they are welcomed in many shops. The hot tub was well used during our stay. The owner had left coffee, tea, sugar, biscuits, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, washing tabs, pan scrubs and dish cloth all of which I took because I expected to have to provide my own!. I would love to return to Cranford House.
