Inside the hut you get a king-size bed with fell-to-sea views, a compact kitchenette with hob, microwave and fridge-freezer, plus an en-suite shower room with fluffy towels. The open-plan studio layout includes a dining table that folds away. Up to two dogs are welcome.
Ravenglass and Eskdale Steam Railway (5.5 miles, 12 mins), Muncaster Castle (11 miles, 20 mins), Hardknott Roman Fort (11 miles, 25 mins) and Wastwater (6.5 miles, 15 mins) are all within easy reach.
The wood-fired hot tub on the terrace is the centrepiece. Watch alpacas, donkeys and sheep wander the smallholding, with the fells rising beyond as the sun goes down.
