Geltwater Cottage is a two-bedroom dog-friendly cottage on a peaceful farm near Brampton in Cumbria, sitting within the North Pennines National Landscape. The exposed beams and wood burning stove give it real character without sacrificing modern comfort.
The North Pennines is walking and cycling country. You can head straight out from the door to Carrock Fell or the Castle Carrock Reservoir two-mile circuit. Talkin Tarn Country Park is just two miles away. Hadrian's Wall is 2. 5 miles.

Hadrian's Wall (2.5 miles), Talkin Tarn (2 miles), RSPB Geltsdale (7 miles) and Carlisle city centre (11 miles) are all within easy reach.
Geltwater Cottage is ideal for couples or small families. The private hot tub on the south-facing decked garden and parking for two cars right outside the door make this a genuinely easy and comfortable base for exploring Cumbria.

The nearest railway station is Brampton (Cumbria) on the Tyne Valley line, approximately two miles from the cottage. Carlisle station, around 11 miles away, has more frequent services and taxis are readily available from both stations.
