About Woof Luxury Family Pod

Woof Luxury Family Pod sits in Low Briery Holiday Village near Keswick, Cumbria. This single-storey pod with mezzanine level packs serious holiday punch in a compact package. Perfect for families wanting the Lake District experience without breaking the bank. The pod sleeps up to 6 people.

Located less than a mile from Keswick town centre, you're perfectly positioned to explore the stunning Lake District. The nearest lake is just 1.1 miles away, ideal for wild swimming if you're brave enough to face the chilly water. After a day of hiking the fells, return to your pod for a well-deserved soak in the private hot tub. Trust me, nothing soothes aching muscles better than bubbling water and a cold beer.

The accommodation features a king-size bedroom with TV (for those lazy mornings) and a twin bedroom on the mezzanine level (accessible by ladder - so maybe don't give grandma that room). There's also a small sofa bed suitable for one adult or two small children who don't mind cuddling. The shower room has a walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC.

Nearby attractions include Castlerigg Stone Circle, Keswick Museum, Derwent Pencil Museum (more interesting than it sounds!) and Puzzling Place. Derwentwater (1.1 miles) offers boating and stunning views. Ashness Bridge (4 miles, 15 minutes) provides classic Lake District photo opportunities. Lodore Falls (5 miles, 18 minutes) and Surprise View (4.5 miles, 16 minutes) are worth the short drive.

Woof Luxury Family Pod offers exceptional value for Lake District adventures. Bring the whole family - pets included - for an unforgettable Cumbrian escape. The hot tub seals the deal!

Woof Luxury Family Pod Reviews

I would have given it 5 throughout but there were a few niggles. The pod was exactly as envisaged and lovely with the hot tub. The cleanliness was overall good but the blinds were extremely dusty. There was either Dog or Fox feaces within the perimeter of the fence, next to the table and chairs we didn't have a dog. We were without the TV in the main bedroom as it wouldn't connect to the internet, despite the efforts of the really nice, personable maintenance staff member. This was disappointing as we like to watch TV in bed before going to sleep. But the pod is in a good location and we enjoyed the break and would do it again..
We had a wonderful stay at this lovely lodge. It was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The views were absolutely stunning and made the stay even more special. The lodge was well equipped with thoughtful touches throughout, making it feel like a home away from home. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway, and we would happily stay again.
From the time we turned up we were so impressed, the accommodation, the view and the site was gorgeous. It was very tranquil and cosy, sitting out on the deck while in the hot tub was a great treat The pod was comfortable and decorated very well and equipped with all you would need. We would definately love to return, there is a nice walk along an old railway line into Keswick which is a beautiful very dog friendly town
Leslie
Woof Lodge at Low Briery Holiday Park exceeded expectations. Booking with Sykes Holiday Cottages was a disappointment. The initial booking process was fine, but there is absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE nor contact number. I sought after help for 1 month, and to no prevail. I will never book again with Sykes...
We really enjoyed staying at Low Briey, the pod was really lovely and the hot tub was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful, will definitely return.
Lovely area and site but the Lodge was very unclean. Clumps of dusthair and toe nail clippings under the sofa. It was in need of a good deep clean. It's a shame as it is a beautiful lodge, with a wonderful view and very tranquil. Took a long time to get a response from anyone too.

I chose Low Briery for its location walking distance to Keswick along the old railway and close to many fells. Overall a lovely place to stay the pod is small but well laid out so it didn't feel cramped two people and two dogs, the hot tub overlooking the river is perfect for post walk relaxation. I wouldn't class it as luxury it is missing the small details i.e. a little welcome pack of tea, coffee etc for when we arrived would have been very much appreciated. The composite decking is hazardous when icy. I would certainly stay there again.
A fantastic luxurious pod, had a wonderful weekend away. Couldnt praise it more.
When we arrived we were really impressed with the pod. I would describe it as a hybrid podmini lodge. The space has been well utilised and our boys loved the mezzanine level bedsden. Be aware that the stairs are steep and it is easy to miss one on the way down. Overall I would say the pod is best suited to a maximum of 5 with at least 2 being children. The location is great with easy access to a lovely walk along the river. It is also a short drive to Keswick where there are lots of shops including a Booths and a CoOp. I would definitely consider booking again.
Patricia
Low Briery is an excellent venue in an ideal position and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The pod was clean and had just about everything you would need but would benefit from the addition of a BBQ. We felt that the description and pictures of the pod to be very misleading as it appeared far larger than it really is. With a family of two adults, one teenager, two small children and a medium sized dog it was far too small for us to be described as comfortable. The second bedroom on the mezzanine floor is merely two mattresses with no room or height to stand up although the pictures of it gives the impression you can. This pod would suit a family with two adults and two small children, any more than that would not be comfortable. I cannot fault Low Briery but the description and pictures need to reflect the property better to live up to the 'luxury' title.
Michelle
Modern pod with all the utilities. Great shower facilities. Hot tub was clean and well maintained. Garden was enclosed and safe for dogs.
