We had a fantastic stay here for a short break. Celebrating a birthday, we spent two nights and really enjoyed every moment. The location's lovely, not far from the Keswick railway walk - a lovely morning stroll. It's also pretty well placed for exploring the Lake District - Pooley Bridge, Windermere, Bowness, Keswick, Kendal, you name it. The drive was smoothand the area quite peaceful. Huge thanks to the owners for making it special. We definitely plan to return and will be recommending it to friends and family! Can't wait to come back!

We really enjoyed our time here. The place was immaculate and super cosy. You'll need to drive if you want to visit any pubs since walking isn't practical and the road's pretty dark after sunset. Overall though, it was a lovely stay. Thanks a lot for having us!
