The setting is genuinely peaceful. Sit in the enclosed garden and you'll hear nothing but birds and sheep. A woodland walk beside a stream runs through the fields below. The local pub is just half a mile away on foot perfect for an evening meal.
Inside there's an open-plan ground floor with a 24" Freeview TV, DVD player and a woodburner with initial logs included. The kitchen has a 2-ring hob, combi microwave/oven/grill and fridge.

Outside you'll find an enclosed lawned garden with decking and a private hot tub for two. Lanercost Priory (12th century, Hadrian's Wall World Heritage Site) is nearby. The Scottish Borders, Lake District and Northumberland National Park are all within reach.
