Set amongst trees on a small camping site at Wallace Lane Farm, it sits suspended over an unfenced stream genuinely unlike most places you'll stay. The 23-acre grounds are shared with two other cottages and offer panoramic views stretching to the sea and the Scottish hills.
This is proper countryside. Caldbeck, Uldale and Hesket New Market are all within a few miles. The nearest shop, pub or restaurant is just 2. 5 miles away. Carlisle, Hadrian's Wall and the Cumbrian coast are all within easy reach for days out.
