From Penrith take the B6413 south towards Kirkoswald and follow signs for Staffield. Private parking for one car is available on site with extra roadside parking just outside.
The nearest railway station is Penrith, served by trains on the West Coast Main Line. From Penrith station it is approximately 9.5 miles to the cottage and a local taxi will get you there in around 20 minutes.
