Bonscale Barn is a beautifully converted stone barn in Watermillock, Cumbria, sitting just one mile from the shores of Ullswater in the Lake District. The Ullswater Way passes right by the property you can head straight out on foot from the front door. This is a proper Lake District base with real outdoor access on your doorstep.
Watermillock is a quiet village on the eastern shore of Ullswater. From here you can walk to Little Mell Fell in under a mile, take the Ullswater Steamers from 7 miles away or drive to Aira Force waterfall in 15 minutes. The front of the property catches the evening sun with views across to Ullswater.
The barn sleeps 6 across three bedrooms two doubles and one bunk-bed room, each individually decorated.

The nearest railway station is Penrith, approximately 8 miles from Watermillock. From Penrith you can take a taxi or local bus towards Pooley Bridge and Watermillock to reach the property.
