The huge enclosed garden is a proper showstopper - complete with mature trees, lawned areas and a paddling stream that dogs absolutely love investigating. After hiking Scafell Pike (just a short drive away), you're only 3 minutes' walk from The Bridge Inn for a well-deserved pint.

The country kitchen is recently renovated while the lounge features a granite fireplace with wood-burning stove - perfect for those chilly Lake District evenings.
Wastwater is just minutes away, offering England's deepest lake and most dramatic scenery. Visit Muncaster Castle (15 minutes), ride the Ravenglass miniature railway (10 minutes), or hit Seascale beach (20 minutes). To reach Fell Foot by car, follow the A595 towards Gosforth and take the turning for Santon Bridge. The cottage is located in Santon Bridge village with good access from main Lake District routes. You'll find plenty of off-road parking for three cars when you arrive.
The nearest mainline station is Seascale, approximately 7 miles away. From there, you'll need to take a taxi to Santon Bridge. Alternatively, Ravenglass station is about 5 miles away and connects to the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway for a scenic approach.
