Lakeland View Reviews

Lynsey
Comfortable cottage, however, some concerns with the hot tub. There was no evidence to show that the hot tub was safe and my daughters swimming costume appeared to change colour when she had used the tub. My older son also experienced dizziness after using the tub. I believe an improvement would be to be able to demonstrate to guests that the tub is safe to use. However, great location and great parking for 3 cars. The living area was a little small for the number of guests. It was fine for us as our guests were family. If you had adult couples, it would have been more noticeable

The property was not the cleanest, and was a little on the small side for 8 people. On the plus side, the hot tub was a good choice especially for the children, who loved it.
Annette
We complained about the standard of cleanliness on our first night and after more than a month we are still waiting for Sykes to resolve our complaint. Apparently they are waiting for a response back from the owners. Not good enough. We will not be using Sykes again. The property was not well looked after and there was mould in the bedrooms as well as dirty and broken items in the kitchen, for example, the freezer was broken and frosted up and many of the potspans should be thrown away and replaced. This accommodation is definitely not the plush and well appointed accommodation it was advertised as.
Absolutely wonderful property in a perfect location. Would definitely like to visit again.
Victoria
Good location but this accommodation fell very short of the standard advertised and has an extensive mold issue.
Nice cottage situated near to the centre of Keswick opposite the Pencil Museum. 4 ensuite double bedrooms, a kitchen with all necessary facilities and a large sitting room. Parking for 2 cars, a third small one at a pinch. Very clean, warm and comfortable.
Great location. Only a few minutes walk into Keswick. Lovely spacious rooms and the 2 parking spaces were ideal. We loved the hot tub!
