Overall, we had a decent stay. The cottage is quite spacious and in a nice spot near both the lakes and dales, which was perfect for walks. The hot tub was a lovely bonus and definitely private. The beds were comfy and the showers worked well. The fridge was spotless and great. However, the carpets in the hallway, living roomand stairs looked pretty grubby and could do with replacing. The kitchen utensils also need an update. Food at the Globe Inn was quite nice too. We think some freshening up would make it even better!

The hot tub was a real highlight, such a treat after a day out. We also tried the pub across the road - honestly, the food was way better than typical pub grub, more like fine dining! Perfect spot for exploring Ullswater, Keswickand Pooley Bridge. Would definitely come back!
