Coney Garth Cottage is beautiful. The spacious living and kitchen areas are tastefully and comfortably furnished, and the whole cottage is clean, attractive and uncluttered. It is thoughtfully provided for with all necessary kitchen equipment, comfortable bedding, uptodate t.v. and a ground floor showerwashroom in addition to the bathroom upstairs. There are so many places to visit nearby, including the local churches with their fascinating medieval gravecoverings. Our host, Julie, is local and knowledgeable about the area, providing good advice and tips on where to visit. She recommended an amazing drive to Wastwater the deepest of the lakes which Is near the tiny church of St Olaf and the foot of Scafell Pike. St Bee's Priory on the coast is also worth a visit. Julie and Geoff are great hosts always around but never intrusive. We loved Coney Garth and hope to return one day.

We received a warm welcome from Julie and were very grateful for the delicious home baked treats and prosecco after a long drive. We loved our stay at Coney Garth Cottage which was comfortable, clean and equipped with everything you needed. Beckermet is a lovely village and was the ideal location for exploring the quieter western side of the Lake District. We spent our week visiting Wastwater Lake, Ennerdale Waters, St Bees, Seascale, Whitehaven, Muncaster Castle and taking the steam train from Ravenglass to Dalegarth. The village pub, The White Mare, is also well worth a visit. A thoroughly enjoyable week.

Fantastic accommodation, and a lovely host, Julie. The decor is to a very high spec and they have thought of everything. The kitchen is well equipped to cook a good quality meal if you are capable and there are plenty of dishes to have friends around. The Dolce Gusto coffee maker suited us as we have one at home. There are two showers, with one of them over a bath. The bed was extremely comfortable and the whole cottage was warm enough for the time of year. We especially liked the hot tub and Julie maintains the health safety of it. We would totally recommend it OH would have been happy to live in it, its that good.

The only thing I can think of is to add a TV to the second bedroom if you have children with you they want a TV in their bedroom. Everything you need is already there. Beautiful cottage in a perfect location for the Western Lake District Fells as well as the seaside and other attractions of the Western Cumbria coast. We had a wonderful week walking in the fells and were so grateful for the comfort of Coneyside Farm Cottage in the evenings. The facilities were excellent and the cottage was spotlessly clean. We had an absolutely wonderful stay in our cottage. Julie contacted us in advance of our arrival to check as to when we could be expected and was around to meet us when we arrived. The cottage was modern, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The coffee maker and supplies to use it came in handy. Washing capsules and dishwasher capsules were provided too. Really lovely holiday accommodation. The attention to detail is fantastic even down to providing gowns useful for the lovely hot tub. Prosecco provided was very welcome. Everywhere is spotless . Beds very comfortable. Julie is a great host and recommended some local areas to visit. Only thing Id like to change is for one of the cottages to be available to bring a dog but I understand why some would not want this.

Would highly recommend this property, it is very well equipped with everything you could need and of good quality. Very small issue of no mirror in the downstairs bathroom but I had my own so it wasn't a problem for us, having the hot tub is the icing on the cake. Coney Garth Cottage is a well equipped, tastefully furnished cottage in a great location to tackle the Western fells and local tourist attractions. It is comfortable and bright with the added bonus of a hot tub. The owners, Geoff and Julie, are readily available should you need them and are keen to ensure your stay is enjoyable and your every need catered for. I would highly recommend a stay at this cottage, which is reasonably priced. We are going back in October, that just about says it all.

Located on the edge of the village, the property is within walking distance of the village pub, which serves good beer and great food, the cottage is clean and tidy with all the amenities that you need, the hot tub is a welcome bonus. We walked along the coast to St Bees which was nice. The hosts were really nice and even brought us freshly baked scones and tried to help as much as possible when the electric started to go off due to storm Debi.

We loved our stay at Coney Garth Cottage! Very clean, had all the utensils you needed for self catering. The host, Julie was very welcoming, friendly and recommended places to visit. We will be back! Thank you Kate & Wiktor

Coney Garth Cottage was absolutely perfect for our family of four. It was the perfect base to get out and explore the gorgeous surrounding areas and Julie and Geoff made sure that we had everything we needed from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. We would happily recommend to anybody.

Loved the cottage, everything we look for and more. Very relaxing, hot tub and bubbly made it extra special. All facilities superb standard. Great location for our walking holiday. Would definitely return!

Wow, this cottage was just beautiful, the quality of everything was totally 1st class. The whole place was immaculate and it had everything you could possibly need . There are no shops in the village so make sure you take supplies though Julie had very kindly provided wine and cookies, also homemade cake and scones mid week which were delicious. I can not recommend this cottage enough and we will definitely be back . Thank you Julie x

Wonderful cottage in immaculate condition and spotlessly clean. We had everything we needed for our stay. Lovely extras including fizz nicely chilling in the fridge and freshly baked cakes and scones delivered by Julie. Geoff was very helpful and suggested some great places to visit. Thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay and would definitely book again in the future.

We had a wonderful week staying at Coney Garth Cottage. After a long journey Julie greeted us on arrival with a bottle of fizz, ice cold water and gave us good information on the area and places to visit. The cottage has everything you need and has been well thought out. Its spacious, modern and the hot tub is a delight after a busy day sight seeing. The outside seating area is peaceful and quiet. Lovely to sit and read or to have your morning coffee. Theres plenty to do and see and the beaches are stunning. Would highly recommend and will definitely return. Julie you are the perfect host. Thank you for sharing your lovely cottage and for the scones and cakes!!

From the moment we arrived we knew we had picked the right place, Julie greeted us when we arrived very friendly, left us prosecco, biscuits and cake which was amazing. The cottage was stunning, very clean and spacious and just like advertised, plenty of things to do around it, on the Wednesday Julie came round with freshly made scones ,jam and cream and also cake which was a lovely surprise. Very helpful and happy to give us suggestions on best place to visit. We didn't want to leave we were totally relaxed the whole holiday. Julie and Geoff were the perfect hosts and we will definitely be going back thankyou
