Mark Close Milking Parlour is a converted former milking parlour for two guests on the outskirts of Alston, Cumbria. This ground floor cottage sits in the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Five friendly alpacas graze in the nearby paddock and panoramic views stretch across green fields and wild fells.
Alston lies on the borders of Northumberland, Durham and Cumbria. The town sits just 15-20 minutes walk away with cobbled streets, pubs, cafés and shops. The area offers fishing, riding and golf. Crossfell, the highest point in the Pennines, provides excellent walking. Water sports are available at Talkin and Keilder Water.
