What a fantastic place to unwind and relax Gelt cottage is! We were welcomed by Tracey who could not have been more welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble.The cottage was warm, clean and well appointed with lots of nice welcoming touches and we could not fault a single thing. The location, whilst a bit remote is accessible and very beautiful with easy access to the lakes and the Eden Valley. Would definitely recommend a stay ????.

A lovely cottage where you can fully relax and unwind. Peaceful location with stunning views. Comfortable beds. Best sleep I have had in a long time. Loved the log burning fire, nice and cosy watching films at night. The village is with 1 mile which is easy to walk on foot. My dog Towyn loved her stay, walks, snuggles and doggy welcome gift. My welcome pack was fabulous too. Hot tub so relaxing. Tracey and Barnaby were warm, friendly and helpful hosts. They kindly lent me some car jumper leads when my portable battery jumpers failed to re-start the car so we could get home safely. Highly recommend and hope to book again soon.
