Our 2nd visit to Bruno's, as usual great location for birdwatching and fairly flat cycling, cottage was comfortable and clean , however would like to just mention a couple of things not quite accurate in description, firstly description states it has a fridge/freezer, whereas it actually has a fridge with a small freezer compartment and secondly the description says bike store which unless it doesn't have unless it means to use the sun room or small, not totally undercover bin store. Didn't detract from our enjoyment though.

Beautiful location and propertyNot many amenities close by but pub was good value for foodNearest shops etc around 4 miles awayExcellent location for visiting the Solway Coast and Northern lakes, Keswick etc

Brunos Bothy is lovely this was our second visit.The Bothy is a good size very comfortable and has everything you could need.We ate in the local pub 3 times which is only a 5 minute walk, the Aikton Arms food is very good and reasonably priced.We enjoyed our second stay here and went in the hot tub every day, would I return yes definitely it's a relaxing get away from it all place.
